The Lodge

An unexpected luxury in the protected bay of Lake Iliamna, Cusack’s Alaska Lodge offers guests comfort and modern amenities in the rugged wilderness. Family owned and operated, Bob and Lula Cusack built the lodge in 1982 and have maintained and updated it with each season. Its authentic character speaks to the fishing, hunting, and outdoor adventures that have passed beyond its walls; and despite being outfitted for the true outdoorsman, the lodge is immaculately kept. The main building is a unique, two story log cabin positioned to capture spectacular views of the landscape. Designed for absolute comfort, it is a warm, inviting, and timeless home-away-from-home in the wilderness.

Rooms are carefully maintained daily and offer lake views, welcome baskets, and luxurious bedding.

The picturesque setting is also home to the worlds largest salmon run and an enormous moose and bear population.

Many guests return simply for Lula Cusack's memorable meals. Well balanced, thoughtfully prepared and presented, a dinner at Cusack's is an experience to savor.
